Mfs.. i think at some point we just stop caring? I mean not to say that we dont put effort into our appearances, but i remmeber posting something like this in life 1, abt feeling like an airhead coz i take so much time in to getting my eyemakeup right rather than studying.. most of the responses were that u grow out of it or something.. so maybe thats it.. i wear makeup n stuff most often to school (since i dont go to many functions or parties).. bleh i dunno :chusni:

actually i never used to wear makeup in high school...i first started to wear makeup after i got married!! so i knew diddly sqat about how to do makeup..but all my cousins who are in the early teens, wear makeup and do thier eyebrows and such....it just amazes me...cuz its really good...ah well...ur right sara...some days i just dont care how i look...i could even go to the mall without any makeup up and in shalwar kameez....my thinking is...im married, ive got no one to impress anymore...lol....

^ Hehe, sometimes thats good, the only one who u shud really try to impress and be attractive for is ur hubby ( at least thas what I think ).. but usually dressing up n stuff isn’t to impress some ppl but rather urself.. i dunno, im sick of ppl who say that if u do ur hair or wear nice cltohes or makeup, ure selfish and insecure and lack confidence.. :chusni:

really? ive never heard that before...for me its the opposite...i wear sweats at home..no makeup and no jewellery...whenever my mom comes over, she alwasy on my head telling me to wear shalwar kameez and put some eyeliner and jewellery on..lol....my nanima woudl alwasy inspect me to see if i had any gold on too..lol....
but at home, my hubby doenst mind me wearing sweats and stuff...obviously , when i go out to parties and stuff....i get all decked out....

when i was first allow to use makeup i used to do so much makeup everyday before going to school, but after few months i got tired of getting up early just to do makeup or look nice, by the time i got in to my senior year i used to only care about wearing clean cloths makeup was not even in back of my mind at that time.
now i do dress up and do makeup for parties or wear lipgloss when i go out.

Thats more of a theatrical/stage makeup…
You know what you’ve got talent but lack direction. …
I strongly recommend that in the next summer break you find work as an apprentice to a makeup artist.
Also look for a career in a makeup artist yourself ..
They have big demand of them in the tv industry..who knows in a few years you’d be doing makeup for celebrities.
some ppl can take a piece of rock and transform it into Taj Mahal.
You are one of those people. Dont let it go to waste.

sara i think the shadow is too matte. u look better with sheer/shimmery shades and a dark color like that definitely looks good with shimmer.
oh yeah and i think it looks a bit over the top because you only had the eye shadow on and no other makeup ....bridal looks good because the whole face is kinda painted for an effect so the look blends together....also before they use a dark color they use a wash of all over color all the way to the browbone..and they use two/three different colors to make it all blend. im sure it would work with blush, lipstick, mascara, foundation etc etc and a bit of tweaking..
in other words u did a halfhearted bum job this time :p

the black shadow is kinda a big no no.
If you wanna know how the brides acheive the heavy black look its cause they are wearing fake eyelashes.
line the bottom eyelash with the light blue too

eye liner too but the thickness is acheived by fake lashes.

Sara.. the blue is too bluee.. the black is too black n its not blendin at all.. Perhaps if the was a bit sheer n not crayoned (it looks liek its crayoned) it might have worked with pastlish colors with gold/silver highlighter. I love the way u do eye makeup.. not this time thou.
You have soo much potential n i’d let u do my eyes anytime but for bridal, u can perfect it with practice hun.. Kisses
