o.k so i gave the sparkly look a try..lol, but i don’t have cosmetic glitter. And no gold craft glitter either. So this is wat i could come up with. i used transparent glitter instead.

and slackira, that looks great. the only thing i'd suggest is that you keep makeup removal wipes handy and wipe the bottom of your eye after you apply your makeup. you're bound to get lots of fall out when using shimmery or glittery eye shadows.
I lov lov lov Reflects Antique gold, Marwah those eyes of urs r looking amazing. I was watching somewhere, how people mix their glitters an pigments with eye drops then apply in to their eyes, but have no idea why lol

i actually had a question about that. i like applying glitter on top of my eye shadow, so i can't put eye shadow on my eye, and then apply primer over it so the glitter sticks. so what should i do? for the black and golden glitter look i did, i put water on top of my eye shadow to get the glitter to stay on..but that doesn't always do the trick. and you're at risk for the glitter falling off, and your eye shadow messing up underneath. so what do yo girls use to get your glitter to stay?

Marwah..PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE we all need to see your step by step pics of doing any and every eye makeup you do. You can take pics at every stage and put them up later whenever you are free. Pretty please.....

Yep Mixing Medium is what ur looking for (mind u it is a pro product) but looking back at ur pictures I thought u was using tht anyway......
what looks really nice (if ur daring enough:D) get some fake eye lashes and coat them with the mixing medium and apply glitter over it
People mix shimmery powder and fairydust with eye drops to make it stay-on longer and stay in place.

aww thnx Jalpari, I use mostly MAC eye shadows and use fluid line also by MAC

Yeah they use eye drops for powder-shimmer and hair gel to keep the eyebrows in place!

ok now seriously I was thinking about the hair gel, I was about to fork out £20 yesterday for a brow gel, and I just kept on thinking to myself this feels like hair gel to me lol.....im so gonna try the hair gel now

yes, hair gel or vaseline work fine.
eye drops are pretty much the same as mixing medium. you can make your own mixing medium with glycerin and water too.

oh really? so say i made my own medium using glycerin and water, would i apply that on top of my eye shadow? i sometimes use vasaline to remove my eye makeup, and it works beautifully. so now i'm thinking, if i use vasaline and water as the medium, won't it remove my eye shadow?

vaseline and water? vaseline is for the eyebrows. you can use it on its own to mix pigment if you want the high gloss look (mix before applying).
glycerin you buy as is... mix 3 parts water to 1 part glycerin. basically you take a little of this homemade mixing medium and mix pigment with it then apply it to your lid.
