No. I was playing around with my dupatta cuz it has a very pretty golden border, and wanted to get the sun to highlight the color. Only eye-liner.

Good job, Sweet one! Your eyeshadow styles are lovely. BTW, what liquid liner do you use? It looks so sharp and nice. And when you line your bottom lids (see pic 7, 8) what liner do you use on the bottom so they don't smudge?

Hi Raatkirani, Thanks for you sweet comment. I use Rimmel liquid eyeliner, the brush is very fine and helps me to achieve a sharp line but if you like an even more dramatic look, you can use a sponge tip. But I personally prefer the fine brush applicator. Another thing, years of practice is actually the key, you must have really steady hands. :)
Again I use the Rimmel eye pencil to line my lower lids, but I can't really say if that will actually stop it from smudging, I still sometimes get smudge marks giving me a dark circle under my eyes, but I put that down to hot weather and humidity. I sometimes use the liquid eyeliner on my bottom lids because it stays put. But other than that I don't know what would do the trick, anyone else have any ideas???

Is this too much eyeliner? I had to get ready for a shaadi in like 6 minutes and just plastered it on real quick..I'm kinda of a minimalist with this whole make up thing..i dont' normally wear this much eyeliner...felt a tad uncomfortable that evening...does it seem excessive?

I wouldn't say that you have the eyeliner on too thickly, some people can carry it off especially those with a lot of eyelid, which is you and me both. It just defines your eyes, but I'll tell you what you could have done to improve that make up, you should have extended the line of your outer eyelids into a flick, only a small one, to give the illusion that you have slightly longer eyes widthways to bare even though you haven't so and it doesn't look as though you have round saucers for eyes, do you know what I mean? Try it, you might be able to tell the difference.

U did that only in six minutes?? Whats ur secret? my eyemakeup looks so sloppy I like the way you put ure eyeliner on, i wudnt say its excessive at all.. in fact, (well to me anyway, every1 has diff eyes n tastes) ure eyes seem kinda bare.. i wuda put eyeliner in the inner bottom part, and mascara as well

Here i was trying out that two-color thing they use on brides.. eh didnt go so well, whatu guys thinK?

Here, i was playing around in my room, trying to do the bridal style.. here its all “it shud be dark” dont matter if it looks nice or not, as long as it stands out Yesh I look like a clown

On Eid day, i tried to do it blue but it came out greenish teal somehow

me like sara!! i especially luv the first 3..no matter how hard i try, i coudl never do my eye makeup like that..im hopeless....what company makeup do u use anyways sara? the good expensive stuff? and is it powder or that cream eyeshadow? if you coud give me step by step instructions...i would love you forever!!!

my eyes are so small...anything to make them look better (besdies the false eyelashes)...i've tried to extend my eyeliner and make that flick...but it just makes my eyes longer (but still smaller), and i end up looking chinese......

In the first three, for the pink i used this stuff I bought from H Karim a couple of weeks ago, its a palaette of eyeshadows, wiht five shades of one color.. its called JustGold n it says its from italy.. it was cheap, abt 250 Rs.. for the blue color i used Covergrls blue caribbean shade (its also in a set of four colours).. i like mac too, but its so expensive and u have to carry a separate brush… id’ rather just use what i have.. n yeah its all powder eyeshadow

The scary bride thing, i used covergirls plum satin/confetti shimmer and pink chiffon, mixed with Mac’s “electric eel” .. the last two i used the mac eyeshadow.

cool! im dying to buy new makeup....but so freakin lazy...and besides, no parties/functions to go to anymore....do you prep your eyes before you apply eyeshadow? meaning, any primer??? my skin is a kind of dark, and so hardly any colour shows up on my lids....i woudl have to have to put extra foundation on my lids to make them lighter, then apply the eyeshadow, just so the colours show up...and my eyelids are so wrinkly...augh!!!! what is a girl to do? at times like this..i wish i was a guy..just wash face and go!! c'est la vie!

I lub being a grl, getting ready is half the fun of the wedding

Before i do my makeup, i wash wit dove exfoliating scrub.. then i use moisturizer wit SPF 15.. then i apply concealor to a few spots like undereyes or some nishaan on my cheeks.. if im gnna wear eyeshadow, i cover my eyelids wit it.. i don’t usually use foundation much anymore, at least not since ive been here, i just use pressed powder..

I dont wear makeup much here, sometimes if i feel daring, ill wear a lil bit mascara and something very subtle.. ppl will think ure married or something if u wear too much gold or fancy clothes or pretty makeup I dont go to many functions or parties, i wear makeup to college..
