marwah -- gorgeous stuff, my dear. you know, someone gave me an eye shadow set that looks just like yours last year. i haven't used it yet because i still haven't finished my other eye shadows and also i didn't recognize the brand. now i figure, who cares! i think i'll give it a try if i can get my eyes to look anything like yours!
okay ladies, i need some help. i'm attending my cousin's wedding next weekend. it's during the day, and i am wearing a ferozi gharara with gold kaam. i figured i'd do neutral-gold eye make up. i was wondering if i should add touches of ferozi, or if that will look too much, especially for day time?

Turquoise fairy-dust in the crease would look great Sahar..
is it me or is that a bit much for a sweet and innnocent day to day university look. normally at school all you need is a nude color lid, a pinkish brownish in the crease (light mind you) eyeliner and you can smudge the corners for a bit more drama. anything more will make you look like a freshmen that’s trying to hard to attract the guys at school. then again that’s my take on it.
sahar- aww thankyou :), definitely give your palette a try and post pics! and adding a touch of ferozi to your eye shadow will look really nice, the pictures in the link chanda posted are perfect.
SGC- thanks a lot! i’m not doing this professionally YET..but i plan to soon iA. i think i might need to take a couple of classes first though, i’ve had no professional training, i don’t know if i’d be good enough.
chanda- aww thank you that’s a good idea, i’m thinking i should start working on a portfolio.

Well in the pictures it does look a bit much as you can only see my eyes (plus for the pictures sake I apllied a lot of colour so it would show), but team it with the right light makeup on the rest of your face and it looks fine. If I have time to do my eyes before uni, theyre the two I do most and they look great with casual clothes.

well thanks for ur suggestion, usually i go to uni with the same look u r telling but without any eyeshadow...a line of black liner on my upper and lower lid a bit smudged from the ends..... it looks kool....
I’m pretty sure u use this palette marwah?!
It comes in matte colours and shimmery colours. If this is the one you use can u tell us please if u have the matte or the shimmery one?
sometimes different shades of lipstick show up on ppl’s lips as a different color, so it’s a lot easier for you to just go to a store with the pic on your phone or in your mind to kinda create the right color for you. many times in makeup ads they list the colors the model uses but when you use it on yourself it doesn’t look right bc of lighting they used and your own pigmentation.
that reminds me of just a pot of gloss on her natural colored lips, like a very light tinted gloss i’d recommend Loreal’s juicy lip colour in Berry Burst,

the awesome thing abt college is that u can go with full on makeup one day and go bare-faced the next...nobody cares or looks weirdly at you...i dont think that can work in any other setting.
I've done smokey eyes or colorful eyes a few times for school...not everyday but just cz i felt like it...these days im bare though
