Desirekills pics aint the clear, an I think the blue one could of done wid a bit more blending

just a little story:
i was on the tube the other day and I'm one of those people who's either asleep or always looking around being nosy. so i turn my head and this woman is sitting a few seats down with a purple coat on. she has a bright metallic green eyeshadow in her hand, jabs her finger in it and smears it across her eyelid. i was horrified. when i turned to look forward again, there was a woman opposite me, also looking at her aghast, then our eyes met and our lips curled into knowing smiles.
i just don't know what possess people. i wonder if she turned up at work thinking she looked hot in her purple coat and messy green eyeshadow :X

hey, i'm sure your camera is fine. you just have to learn how to use it for these close up shots. firstly, try not to use the flash as it washes the colours out.
either take the pic in daylight or in a room with really good, bright lighting and turn the flash off.
then your camera should have a macro mode (small flower icon), turn that on.
position your eye about 50cm from the camera or arms length (it will have problems focusing if it's too close).
give that a go!

a purple coat and metallic green eyeshadow wouldn't look half bad. i think it'd look pretty cool actually..as long as it's applied right, not smothered on
