Eye Makeup!

Re: Eye Makeup!

Use a fluffy blending brush like the MAC 224 with a matte light taupe eyeshadow (something just 1-2 shades darker than skin tone) and apply it to the crease while the persons eye is opened. This will help you figure out exactly where their crease is. Then with a crease brush like the MAC 217, use a medium brown eyeshadow slightly below the previous eyeshadow application (this should be the crease area) Blend both together creating a gradient. You can add a little black to the outer corner and blend it in to make it darker. That’s exactly what I did.

To create a sharp edge, you can try using tape. I personally didn’t use it for the look I posted. What you can also do is finish applying the lid color, put on the winged eyeliner and THEN work on the crease. Apply the darker color above the wing, the wing should serve as a guide. Your eyeshadow shouldn’t exceed the wing, if it does just wipe it off with a q-tip.
