Hmm. I’ve read that brown eyes are associated with intelligence while** green-eyed people shouldn’t be trusted**. I think that what is rare in a culture is what is often found attractive. For instance lighter eyes will be more desired by a culture where darker eyes are the norm.

Sometimes I wish that I had light brown or hazel eyes because I think they would stand out more against my skin tone. But I like how dark eyes are able to pull off a variety of eyeshadow colors and can look very enchanting.

Agree though that what’s rare in a culture tends to be thought of as attractive whether that’s eye colour, skin tone and even certain features..

Freida Pinto’s a really good example of someone not considered particularly attractive in her own culture but v.beautiful in others.. I think she’s gorgeous
