I’m sorry but I think it’s really annoying. I mean it’s fine if it’s just there but every time I go to click the scrollbar on the right, it opens up…and plus it keeps following me around on the page whenever I scroll up or down!

I dont have any problems with the quickie bar but can you please change its location from the left to anywhere else.
It keeps on jumping every time I wanto use the scroll bar and gets very annoying.
Maybe right is a good idea, noone ever uses the right side so it should be okay

rename it foreplay instead of quickie, after all it is something you get to before getting down to the business of well posting.
tis okay man, and dont move it to the other side of the page, i dunn wanan have to go to the left for the links, if i am already scrolling on the right.

oye move this quickie/foreplay to either left side of the page or put in place of the current quickie, its annoying when it pops open every time you scroll down the thread/page

I actually didn't even notice it till I saw this thread this morning and even then i had to go searching for it. :)
Why don't you just one of those java scripts which makes the regular quickie bar float around as you scroll up and down the page. That way it won't expand as you reach for the scroll bar.
Or you can just move the scroll bar to the left instead of the quickie bar :p

why go to the left side of teh page, leave the floater.where it is but instead of a mouseover/rollover make it a clickie.

Wouldnt it be easier to just move the quickie to the left instead of moving the scrollbar to the left. I mean why try to grab the eary around your head when u can easily grab is from front.
I think most users find it annoying that it is interfering with the scrollbar and is becoming annoying. Its too bad that GS is not a democracy ;>
