I m getting LHR(coolglide ndYAG) on my face. Before starting the treatment i had coarse hair on my neck, chin, with less thickhair on my cheecks and upper lips, after 4mnths of treatment it has now changed into fine and soft hair. A family friend told me about electrolysis(she doesn't believe in laser,:p)
NOw my question is should i stick with laser or switch to electrolysis?
Anyone know good electrologist in karachi? I m moving to london next year, should i wait until then?
Does electrolysis cause scarring or any sort of indentation? Is it safe to do electrolysis on cheeks?
I have had success with electrolysis. There was some redness and some tiny barely noticeable red spots that disappeared within a week. I was told that I might see some pigmentation but I guess I was lucky because my skin started improving once I started electrolysis. Maybe it was the aftercare routine that I followed. In any event, I too feel that the laser was not appropriate for me and suspect it caused more growth on my face. I asked my electrologist to recommend someone in Canada because she studied electrolysis there. She suggested that you go online and look for a school called, DECTRO, located in Canada and then find out who, among their graduates, are practicing in the Toronto area.
