Re: Expensive addictons

my weaknesses: designer bags, stilettoes, YSL eyeshadows, bracelets, pretty blouses, perfumes, lotions, lingerie!!!! ohh gosh!! im addicted to everything.......oh yeah----yummmmmmmmmmy desserts too:):):)

Re: Expensive addictons

Oh gosh my addictions are mainly dangly earrings and ridiculously expensive jeans. I lovelovelove True Religion for its awesome fit and outstanding quality but it is so hard on the wallet therefore I dont see any new ones being added to my collection in the near future :frowning:

Other than that… chocolate and pastries! I could easily spend hundreds on that stuff every week :bummer:

:D…You are so funny:D…
Waise doesnt the olive oil stain clothes afterwards.
And you know you coul have said ou are going Green, and using “organic” stuff:D

We're all so spoilt =(

Thank you Blushing.. need some of that now!

Attraction- by Lancome is really nice
Versace bright crystal is great

Re: Expensive addictons

I try to buy stuff on sales or wait for coupons unless i need something ASAP.

In our area, there are side walk sales in the malls twice a year where they sell salon quality shampoos at half price. I usually buy the litre size which lasts me for quite a while.

I think the only thing i have traded so far is my 65 dollar eye cream for a moisturiser by AVON and expensive body wash for Caress brand ones. They also smell really nice.

Re: Expensive addictons

Ira, did u notice any difference in the eye cream, or was the value one similar?

I love coming across a massive bargain in the sales, used to buy them even if i didnt need them, now i dont do that anymore bcos its a waste of space n money bcos i dont use and it takes up space. Ended up giving 5 sacks of stuff to charity this year in a clear out few months ago, and a lot of it was brand new "bargains" that i thought r too good to miss.

Re: Expensive addictons

hey i got discounts today, as most of the shops have had sales on or discounts coz of the economic crisis goin on.

Re: Expensive addictons

i suppose im addicted to colouful eye shadows, other then tht hand bags and sweet desserts....

Re: Expensive addictons

we all a part of GS lifestyle for a reason: girls who LOVE being girls!! purses, and make up and clothes OH MY!!!

Re: Expensive addictons

as for bargains....any of u go to Cosmetics Company....they have so much make up for about 1/3 less than the department store price:)

Re: Expensive addictons

Kohl’s has a really gorgeous bag designed by Vera Wang for them on sale right now… original price is 119 and its been slashed to $83… plus you can use whatever discount coupons they mail you..

Simply Vera Vera Wang Large Quilted Satchel

^Thats the one… but believe me in real life it looks so much better! Shiny and new with the gold accents… really looks pricey and hot! :jano:

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SALES NEXT WEEK! :yahoo:

A million thanks to God for I'm not into make-up and stuff. However, I'm totally and highly addicted to perfumes. If a new fragrance comes out that I like, I have to buy it. Next comes the addiction of shoes. I am sucker for nice, glam, and glitzy shoes and sandals.

I do think I would have been bankrupted by now if I had not found Winners store. It's literally saved me from spending hundreds of bucks on shoes and perfumes. The key is to keep looking every now and then.

Re: Expensive addictons

i spent $25 on drug store eye makeup yesterday and i thought tht was too much..so yeah

i dont have any expensive addictions..i do buy expensive perfumes every now and then..and mostly i ask forr them as gifts.

Re: Expensive addictons

^yeah me too, I cant really bring myself to spend too much on makeup... i'd rather spend it on jewelry or clothes or shoes or something... besides, we're all pretty girls here... im sure we could look just as fab in dollarstore (ok well not exactly dollarstore) makeup as in something from dior!

I do sometimes, but often teh lipstick shades are the ones that I don't want.

Rupay, i thought the eye cream wasnt doing what its supposed to (lighten my circles) and had stopped working. I had samples for Avon's liiv botanicals day and night cream and when i tried them i fell in love. Now i just use them both on eye area as well. Maybe in a couple of years when i hit 30+ and need something for wrinkles etc, iw ill go back but right now i am really happy with the moisturisers.

Riya are you on their mailing list? I get coupons for 15,20 or 30% all the time.

Re: Expensive addictons
