Congrats LFP! Is this ur first baby?? The scan is amazing! Aww hope ur nausea gets better soon i know te feelin i had bad nausea and now been vomiting since the last month:-( jus hope it goes away!!!

Guys did u have your initial tests i dnt know what are they called but the blood/sugar/weight/BP or like that tests in the first 3 months? how imp are they? My doc hasnt suggested any for me and even she has not given me calcium. the only thing she tells me in every scan is everything is ok keep using folic acid. My 3rd month will end this week inshAllah ... and by this week my sleeping nausea has woke up again :s

Hey dum... I had an appointment at 8 weeks with midwife where she done my blood tests, checked bp,my weight and filled out all my medical details. I have another appointment with midwife next month inshallAh i will be 16 weeks and i think they will do another blood test etc

Ive just had my appointment with the community midwife at 18 weeks, all she did was cheked my bp, asked about my health and had a listern to the babys heartbeat which I heard for the first time and wasnt expecting it, so a nyc suprise at the appointment.

My next hospital appointment is at 20 weeks for the anomaly scan, dreading that scan coz if something is wrong or not developed right, this is when they will pik it up.

in first 3 three months u r good to go if u only take folic acid,it is better not to take any iron or calcium tabs ......n abt calcium,if u drinking 2 cups of milk n also eating yogurt or lassi etc,then there is no additional need to take cal tabs ,but if u feel that u must ,then do so only after consulting ur doc

hello ladies im also due around new year,im in my 16ish week now ,didnt join earlier coz i had twins in the beginning but one of them did nt make itpast 12 weeks n i needed some time to get over it,so now im here joining u ppl, hope we ll all have uneventful n healthy pregnancies

Dont be afraid.. inshaAllah everything will be fine.. my 20 weeks scan was the best thing that ever happened to me and I was sooo looking forward to it.. thats where they told me the gender too.. if you want to find out the gender of the baby, 20 weeks scan is where they will tell you!!

dumdeedum.. my midwife had told me to eat whatever I wanted or felt like during the first trimester.. she said if I wanted to eat fries three times a day, I could.. but that was also because I was throwing up a lot and couldnt keep anything down.. she just wanted me to eat whatever I oculd keep in there!!

I suggest munching on fruits.. now in my second trimester I eat a lot of fruits and raw veggies..my favorites are carrots, cherries, pears, apples, cantaloupe, green pepper!! I eat them all day long and the regular ghar ka khana!!

ps: I also two hard boiled eggs everyday.. I never had this many eggs in my life ever before!! so eat whatever you can and whatever you want.. now is the time :-)

I am due in March InshAllah, in my 9th week already. No sickness just a terrible backache if I over exhaust myself rest is fine and pretty normal alhumdolilah. Congratulations to all the mommies to be in this forum. May Allah ease this very important,joyous and crucial stages of our lives. Please remember me in prayers too:)

ladies i am no more in the list i have lost my baby. went for routein 12 week scan n got to know i hav had misd abortion at 10th week

wow so many ladies due in the new year IA. I am about 12 weeks along AH and due in mid Feb. I had my first midwife appt at 9 weeks and she did a regular history, blood tests etc. Also heard baby's heartbeat taht day. Such a wonderful thing. Also had my first u/s around the same time to date the pregnancy. This is our second baby. My next appt as well as first trimester screening is on Aug 10th.

Oh no dum im really sorry to hear about ur loss, big hug hun;(May allah swt give u the courage to get through this difficult time and may he bless u with a healthy baby soon inshallah! Feel so sad for u we were in this together from the stwrt:-(We r all here for u if u wana talk xx
