I had a thread on this topic some time back, you may look at it too, however I didn't participate in it because the topic is very sensitive and an unintentional twist can be dangerous. I will give you one clue, a prophet has a responsibility to deliver Allah's message to people, a message that people should be able to understand, remember and act upon. Mankind has taken a long time to become human, don't forget the era of neanderthals and the stone age. Just to clarify, I don't believe in theory of evolution by Darwin, however I believe what Muslim scholars have said about it.
