I don't usually bother with make-up for work - the only time I make an effort is if I have an external client meeting/seminar or I have an extra 30 minutes in the morning (which is really rare).
On regular mornings, all I do is moisturize and use a lipgloss.
But, if I have a client meeting and I need to look polished, I will make an effort - this morning being a perfect example. I used tinted moisturizer, liquid and pencil eye-liner, mascara, blush, lipliner and lip gloss - so, even when I'm "done up", it's a simple look :)
