hello MIAinVA, yes, shiseido white lucent does help brighten up the complexion but like every product use it religiously for atleast 2-3 weeks before u can notice any difference...dont expect it to work with in a weeks time....:)
also, it does make ur skin tight/dry but theres a way to over come this problem and that is to use a moisturizer right after u use shiseido toner (they call it a softner)...and yes do use the whole range to see a remarkable difference...it gives skin a nice transparenty dewy look...

everything that i mentioned above is based on my experience...
also try lancome blanc expert ...i know its a tad bit more expensive but it works like a charm..
again based on my experience...lancome helps WHITEN/ getting rid of sun spots or dark areas...whereas shiseido will help brighten up the complexion , i didnt really see much of a whitening effect while using shiseido, but none the less its the next best thing to lancome....:)

hey hmmmm ... i wanted to know that lancome blanc expert .. what was that ? Is it a cream u used ? Cuz i had a look at a link one guppy posted and it seems like that they have a lot things under this name like cleansers , facemasks and stuff ...
So would really appreciate it if you could tell what excactly u used ..
