Disregarding the fact that Nawaz Sharif survived or not, the fact remains all the generals including Ayub, Yahya, Zia and Musharraf were promoted out of turn (disregarding merit to fulfil the narrow political objectives of rulers) and in all cases the end was same (the God father became a victim). Btw the same thing we can see now in terms of TTP. There’s a saying that “momin aik soorakh say aik daffa das khata hay” I wonder what our ruling elite is?
