I thought its good to open a thread where every one can share master pieces of their favorite poets, or poems which they think are ever green, the more u read the more u fell in love with them
here i am sharing one of my favorite by Faiz Ahmed Faiz
Tum jo pal ko thehar jaao to ye lamhey bhi
** Aaney waalay lamhoN ki amaanat ban jaaeiN**
** Tum jo thehar jao to ye raat, mehtaab**
** Ye sabzaa, ye gulaab aur hum donoN ke khwaab**
** Sab kay sab aisay mubham hooN ke haqeeqat ho jaaeiN**
** Tum thehar jao kay unwaan ki tafseer ho tum**
** Tum say talkhi-e-auqaat ka mausam badley**
** Raat to kia badlay gi, haalaat to kia badleiN gay**
** Tum jo thehar jaao to meri zaat ka mausam badley**
** MeherbaaN ho ke na thehro to phir youN thehro**
** Jaisay pal bhar ko koi khwaab-e-tamanna thehrey**
** Jaisay darwaish-e-madaa-nosh kay pyaalay meiN kabhi**
** Aik do pal ke leeyay talkhiy-e-dunya thehrey**
** Thehar jaao kay madaarat maey-khaaney se**
** Chaltey chaltey koi aik-aadh subho ho ja’ay**
