My husband and a group of 30 friends, (during their medical elective) went to war torn places in africa and bosnia to help muslims... and still do go to different muslim countries to this day (well those that allow them in without suspicion!!!)... so yes you could say they are muslim doctrs without borders.... even my brother goes with them now!
My friends and I, during every University summer, used to go backpacking across europe and people used to sponsor us... and the proceeds all went to muslim charities...
We did many sponsored hitch hikes, cross country cycling etc......
but yes, this is all on a small scale... but we did and always have done our bit for charity as much as possible :)
People have different ways of raising money for charity i guess...
Hey I;m going to PM about the bolded parts. i want to do a medical elective like that inshallah in my fourth year...I know cdrs is one like that that help in Pakistan....but i would love to KNOW about others!
