according to my experience, i was never cursed by the people who were really sincere with me and loved me. curse only comes when they were with you cause it suited them or you suited them without the bond of love or sincerity. so that just vanished them moment they realise its not moving forward.
people who are really in love, never curse each other, they part way always on loving ans sincere note though in a very sad way. :(
If someone curse either they dont love you, love you but being childish and dont know what to say, or just their way of saying goog bye.
