Tbh Jose will fail at Chelsea. The hallmarks of the successful teams he has managed all had excellent defenders. Madrid didn't and he won nothing with them other than a title and after spending hundreds of millions that's meager returns.
Chelsea has a poor defence, maximum he will finish is 3rd/4th. Expect Utd, City and Arsenal to be the top 3, with Liverpool and Chelsea for 4th and Spurs nowhere :D

Very good, if we beat City and Chelsea then for me the league is more or less done. A 11-13 point gap even we can't mess it up!

Arsenal are the most consistent side at the minute. Chelsea were losing to southhampton 1-0 last time i checked despite playing at home and having a decent line up including juan mata. Lets just not even talk about the Liverpool game. Horrible performance. Rodgers needs to get his finger out in the winter transfer window and add depth to the central midfield. We cant keep relying on gerrard at this stage in his career. lucas is average. Doesnt help sturridge got injured at such a crucial time. Had important games coming up including city - dec/jan games is what will decide if liverpool make the top 4 or not. btw anyone watch the city game?? i cant get access to scores at the minute.....its another home game am i right??

oohhhh shak youve got a north london rival here haha. I actually rate AVB as a manager. But i think with the money he got from bale he kind of lost the plot and went on a spending binge and bought too many players. Its gonna take another season for them to properly gel. Add that to the fact that defo has hardly been getting played its not hard to see why spurs are where they are.
Skrtel actually had an ok game. He was just unlucky i think. Its johnson who let the side down. I dont know if i agreed with rodgers buying toure in the first place. A part of me says that he would be an asset cuz of the experience and the know how he has to win the title - but i think hes past it now. Alonso would be good at this point LOL. Fancy ribery in there somewhere(wishful thinking i know lol). I think he could fit in well. I completely LOL’d at arsen wengers attempt to get Suarez hahahaha. A pound over the release clause (which was 40 million i think). classic LOL. Arsenal are the most consistent side right now - dont know if youve heard benzema is linked to you guys??

Midnight- what a day awaits us tomorrow, with the Plastic clubs losing today a win over Everton and we will be 7 points clear, then a win vs Chelsea or City and I cannot see us losing the league and dropping 10 pts! I remember not wanting to eat after Barca beat us in the final but I can barely control my excitement if we become champions at the end of the season! Fantastic day for you lot as well, Rodgers has done well, credit where it is due, I feel if you guys get a CB DM and another AMC/FC you will be back in business when it comes to titles! Lets have a collective laugh at Utd

Oh well it was city at the etihad - Didnt see much from my man henderson today sadly. Here i was talking about gerrard maybe passing the ropes to henderson. And for the love of god countinho needs to work on his shots - despite having quick feet he was a poor finisher. No idea why rodgers swtiched henderson and countinho about. Henderson was doing good on that left wing. Anyways shak if we cant get it - i would much rather wenger got it. After everything he has given to arsenal he deserves at least one last title in the bag. Would much rather you guys get the title than Sheikh pellegrini or Mourinhovich. Our target has always been the top 4 - nothing more and nothing less and is very realistic since we arent juggling the epl with the champions league.

sometimes epl looks like wwe....refs can see a fly and sometimes they miss an elephant in sight. Dont know wat was pressurizing the ref at city since Pallegrini doesn't look like SAF to me :).

I agree Midnight, the decisions City get at Etihad are laughable. Even against Arsenal they got away with 2 offsides, a legit goal, a pen appeal. The decision against Sterling was shocking as well.
Liverpool have been splendid, Rodgers has really surprised me. They could have easily lost the plot after losing to us but he has kept them going!
A very interesting league ahead. Ramsay injured, tho Wilshere coming in, great depth!

The FA are ridiculously bureaucratic its unreal. Instead of letting Brendan rodgers comments slide they decide to "pursue" him. Only the FA could punish someone for being honest. btw shak have you heard juan mata is linked to arsenal?? city are 1-0 as im typing this

Would you sell Suarez at the end of the season? I'd let him go and buy 2 big name players, I don't think Liverpool have had a better chance to become the top dogs again for a while

Im pretty sure that somewhere in suarez's new contract there is a clause that if we dont make the top 4 he can walk away. That aside, i dont think rodgers will give him up without a fight especially since the team is built around him which is even more apparent with sturridge not being there. Plus rodgers thing is to buy in/bring up through the academy young players and nurture them as opposed to big name signings. He is like fergie in that regard. countinho, sterling, moses, alberto, aspas and even sturridge all young players and no where near their peak yet. I think rodgers needs to offload if anything - starting with aspas who has done next to nothing since the day he got here
