Europe Road Tour

Re: Europe Road Tour

Awwwww Florence jee if you asked a couple of years ago i would’ve accompanied you… but now i have kids! My friends and I used to go through mainland Europe every summer, either backpacking or racing through… i’m fluent in the main european languages, the rest i can speak conversationally so i could’ve been of great help… oh well :hinna:

Let me know the details of your trip on here…where you’re planning on staying, what you plan to see etc… i’ll give you some pointers

Re: Europe Road Tour

Sounds like fun maroush. I did Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, England and ended in Edinburgh by road. Started in Berlin. Took 10 days.

Make sure to check for automotive laws and right/left hand drive in each country. We had to change our car at the Chunnel border in France before we got into UK.

Have loads of fun and post pictures when you get back!

Re: Europe Road Tour

Let me finalize the details, i will definitely let you know, help is always appreciated !

Re: Europe Road Tour

I want to start from Berlin, because rental laws are very much relax in Germany, in UK/France the minimum rental age is 25 … and i have still 8 months to touch it

..and i can’t wait for eight more monthssss .. gosh :snooty:

Re: Europe Road Tour

Pick me and my friend up in Amsterdam..! :D (kiddin..)

Ma bro did a similar but small euro tour with his friends.. They didnt plan anything.. They took their friends car and head off.. with no destination in their mind.. A few days later they ended up in Madrid (Spain)..

Re: Europe Road Tour

how’s was your yesterday Lake Barbarino trip? … :asa:

Re: Europe Road Tour

ahh… the youngins zest for getting older…

Re: Europe Road Tour

Just a comment on your tour map:

With the exception of one country you are mentioning the names of the cities/towns you intend to travel to. But for Austria you have just mentioned the country, not the names of the actual places.

I'd definitely suggest to have Innsbruck, Hallstatt and Vienna on your Austrian itinerary.

Re: Europe Road Tour

yar jo bhy kero, make sure u dont go alone. . . …

now i m kinda person whole doesnt mind loneliness much

but

once upon a time traveled from one corner of Australia to other and couldnt accompany others for various reason and i didnt wana delay my trip so i left alone. Took me 4-5 days for one side and travelled abt 4500 KMs. It was fun but it would have been mega fun if i had some with me. On top of that i only had a cheap mobile camera.

Now all those nice moments i cant even talk or share to some one or recall sitting with any friends who could have went along.

make some changes but make sure u r not alone  cause i got bored on the 4th day and raced to my destination :bummer:

Re: Europe Road Tour

Thanks for pointing out, Vienna is on paper-work.. i don’t know.. why i didn’t put in the map :hmmm: ..

I am. What are you paying? :) And I can help rent the car in UK (but those dudes don't let you take the car out of UK)
Why don't you go earlier in the summer? I really am interested. It would be sorta like back packing but without waiting at the bus stop.
