The very base of islam rests upon 1 creator and the prophet muhammad peace be upon him is his final messenger/prophet. If anyone sees Mr Mirza as a prophet then they are not muslims.
I cant claim to be a Hindu.
Not all Qadiyanis/Mrzais are persecuted - some lead quite a free a life.
The biggest problem with Qadiyanis/Mirzais is that they have very active missionaries and have spread their faith quite far - and they do it by calling themselves muslims. It is this deception that many scholars dislike and thats why they issue fatwas againstthem.
I dont agree with people burning their places or worship, beating their people at all but they should also claim not to be muslim. I think if they did that people would appreciate them more.
For those of you who want to move this to the religion forum - this is more of a political than religious issue. There is every reason why this thread should stay in PA. The treatment of a religious minority is as much a political issue as religious.
