Well, in my part of the world the wedding/valima function is entertainment enough! 
People go to the wedding to gossip, eat and to comment on various outfits surrounding them. They don’t need other forms of entertainment.
People on GS have considered having:
- slideshows
- antakshari
- Qawwali night
- Ghazal night
Options are endless, though. You can even hire
- DJs
- comedians
- circus performers
and still the guests wouldn’t be entertained enough!
