England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

and if we keep on fielding like we are doing right now, they can even reach 300!!!

one of the worst fielding display by Pakistan, I have seen in ages. If they want to give them any chance in Champions Trophy or World Cup, they have to drastically improve the fielding.

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

well, no matter what others say, we really need to improve the fielding. its gonna be tough in the world cup. we can't afford small mistakes against Australia or other teams.

Today our best fielders were our most least mobile ones (Inzi and Youhana) while the worst ones were mobile ones (Younis, Rana, Malik)

Maybe they will re call Rhodes again for another stint as fielding coach. The PCB has plenty of spare money and don't know what to do with it.

People:

Our fielding sucks, we know it and we are working on it. There's no need to get a heartburn over it now, the commentators are trying to sour up our performance by overemphasizing it.

It's the sum of Batting+Bowling+Fielding+Strategy that results in a team's win or loss. There will be days when one or more factors in our performance will be lacking, and fielding is something that is lacking more often than not, HOWEVER, while we continue working on improving it, we should not forget that the SUM of all our departments BEATS the SUM PERFORMANCE of other teams, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT.

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

What was the performance of 'squeeky choto' Akmal like behind the stumps. Has he missed any stumpings/catches - or he didn't get a chance to catch/stump anyone today?

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

Oh no Rana is back.

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

That should boost the England run rate.

Re: England vs Pakistan 3rd ODI (d/n), 5th September 2006,The Rose Bowl

rana has the last chance to retain his place in the next game
