I think the BCCI has taken a risk in having this series right after Pakistan. Look at our team, so many of our big guns (Afridi, Inzy, Shoaib) are having fitness problems b/c of the stress and physical demands of the game. Not to mention they will have three Tests and SEVEN ODIs.

Yeah and to imagine they go to WI right after thats six months of straight cricket. I predict Ganguly to be captain again just by process of elmination.

Well Aus played 7 ODIs in WI last time they toured WI ..... AUS won 4:3 after going 4:0 up ....... but afterwards Ponting admitted that it was too much ...... and i think he is quite right ...... 5 ODIs is just fine as u've to see it like a Circus that is touring every big city to entertain the crowd for a short while ..... on other hand Tests r a game watched by die-hard fans (atleast most of them r die-hard fans) so i think all major teams should atleast play three tests apart from BD

I think India is playin way too much in that short time ....... Well it started with Zim-series , then SL series inbetween SA-Series, now Pak-Series, then Eng-Series and then WI-Series ...... one has to admire those guys who will have played most of these matches and come out of this season without a major Injury

If the BCCI won't let up on playing Cricket...they should use this situation to have a rotation policy (like the Aussies) and develop Bench strength.

India's batting stars Tendu, Dravid and Laxman are all over 30 and the maximum they will be around is another 3-4 years....So I think India would do well to groom youngsters.

Well not that it’s any of my business but I have to agree with funguy ODI’s dont really matter that much and I’m saying this even though i’m Indian. Don’t get me worng though ODI’s are fun to watch and I’m happy we are beating Pakistan but when its all said and done Test cricket is “real cricket” and fact of the matter is India is ranked 3rd in the world in test cricket.
