England V Bangladesh

Do you think he is really THAT good? BD fans are already started comparing him with Lara!!

Re: England V Bangladesh

^ He could be Lara of Bangladesh, but nowhere close to actual Lara IMO :-)

Re: England V Bangladesh

Tamim’s got talent. Back to back hundred against England. :k:

Bang 153/2

Re: England V Bangladesh

once again Bangs have set a high standard for us. they took all england wickets in two innings now.

Re: England V Bangladesh

^^ the good part is, we are not playing against Bangladesh... we are set to loose against some of the best teams of the cricket world :)

Re: England V Bangladesh

214/8

What a collapse

Re: England V Bangladesh

216 all out.

Will england enforce the follow on tomorrow.

cricinfo:

That'll be stumps on day two, and what a capitulation that was from Bangladesh after the great start they were given by Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes. Really, apart from those two, the middle order did nothing at all. Granted, England came hard at them, but there were some soft dismissals along the way - Jahurul, Ashraful, Shakib and Mushfiqur all gave their wickets away with needlessly expansive shots. The result: Bangladesh lose 10 wickets for 90 runs, and after bossing England around in the first two sessions they have crumpled in a heap. Credit to England, too, as they kept the pressure on as soon as they found the breakthrough, and Swann and Shahzad - on Test debut - deserve commendation for some great bowling.

9 wickets fell for 60 odd runs. Looks like Pakistan got competition. But seriously Bangali middle order is worse than Pakistan's.

That is saying something. :hehe:

Re: England V Bangladesh

lets swap Butt for Tamim. :hmmm:

Re: England V Bangladesh

BD lost by an innings and 80 runs. Absolute capitulation.

Re: England V Bangladesh

^^ Allah is making way for us, Has BD survived the inning defeat and as we all know that Pakistan is set to have a few.. could have been great humiliation...

Re: England V Bangladesh

Bangladesh should just quit playing test cricket. Their players lack test temperament and discipline. 3 wins in 68 tests over the last 10 years is an abysmal performance. Ireland and Kenya probably would have won more games over the same length of time.
