vs Scotland
Re: England v Bangladesh at Adelaide, Mar 9, 2015
btw this is England’s worst showing at a world cup.
“In losing to every Test-playing side in Pool A - their only win has come against Scotland - England have put in their worst showing since a first-round exit on home soil in 1999. Even then, they managed to beat defending champions Sri Lanka.”

Re: England v Bangladesh at Adelaide, Mar 9, 2015
I had feeling before world cup started, that somehow BD would qualify for quarter final. Seems, my hunch was right. I was not sure which team would give way to them, though I thought that maybe NZ might give way. I was wrong about NZ, but nevertheless this is what I wrote on 14th January.
In my opinion: …. Only upset I believe could be Bangla Desh qualifying at expense of New Zealand. Reason is that in ODI, most of the times batsmen play vital role, not bowlers. Bangla Desh team have some good batsmen and all-rounders, and I believe that overall, their team might perform better than expected. Obviously, Australia is too good for BD to beat. Thus SL, Eng and NZ, anyone of them may have to make place for BD and I believe it could be NZ or Eng. Between them two, I think NZ may give way. Rest is quite obvious unless some big upset happens. ... ...
Since NZ is playing superbly, England lost the slot in quarter final to BD.

this is absolutely disgusting performance from England. ![]()

I think England performance would bring lot of shakeup in English team, from management to players. Many would get sack and many players would be out of team, giving way to new players. It won’t be like Pakistan … where, PCB management enjoy their life on tax payers money and preaches to Pakistanis: Cricket is just a game so do not take it seriously … rather Pakistanis are expected to sing … ‘tun jeeto yea haro, hamy tum say piyaar hay’.
Re: England v Bangladesh at Adelaide, Mar 9, 2015
If this was Pakistan, KP would have been back as captain before team landing in UK :D
