Collingwood to Symonds, 2 runs, really good effort from Pietersen that - he caught it just inside the midwicket boundary and then he keeps tiptoeing and tiptoeing inside the rope, before flicking it into space inside as he goes over. There's much discussion and referral and many many replays. But not out, in the end, he mustn't have been in control, in their opinion

^ Yes that was funny to watch, Peterson did very well but could not control his body even though he had taken the catch cleanly.

England were 164-2 after 28 overs. They then collapsed to 179-5! They scored only 83 off their last 22 overs which is really poor at this level. That's where they lost the game IMO

Missed most of Aussies innings and also of englands from 167-2 at the 29th over.
But it is incredible the way this team (Aussies) can pull games back their way and make sure they win!!
Clinical like you said to say the least.

England have only themselves to blame. They should really have got 280+ from a position of 164-2 after 28 overs. but as is their wont their middle order collapsed yet again

Australia are through to semis while England v SA will probably become the game which will decide who goes through to the semis out of these two teams.

Well played Australia, they deserved that victory - good captaincy from Ponting to apply the squeeze once Pietersen and Bell had got them into a decent position in England's innings. Another victory for Australia, then, the deserved favourites, and that's 18 straight World Cup wins for them. Take that. England, meanwhile, have plenty of work to do in their remaining Super Eight games.
