there is a place for makeup called shades its pretty good well at least the 2 brides i have seen who got ready from there....but make sure u get ready by the lady who owns it her name is i think nabeela or something like that...and i think its on some DC road...not tooo sure but the parlours name is shades for sure....

shades and khushboo are the best in gujranwala. Plus to get some work done on clothes, there are some excellent ppl in guj, 1 place is satellite town market and another is not too far from there, don't remember the name. gujranwala is not a village ppl. my cousins went to guj from sialkot and got some breath taking clothes made for the wedding.

Shades and Khusboo are good beauty parlors along with many others like Rahat beauty parlor that is like 25+ years old. Yes Gujranwala is dirty city but no means it's a village. They have just opened up Pace Center in Gujranwala too. In terms or dresses, you can find any kind and any quality dress there. They have modern shops in Satellite Town whereas city center bazaar like Meena Bazar, ArainaN wali gali etc have excellent clothing stores.
Gujranwala is also well known for Tikka/Kababs. Though Gujranwala has old dirty roads but you will find all kinds of expensive cars on those broken roads. Not big or modern like Lahore, but It's quite big industrial city. So you should not have any problem in finding a decent beauty parlor or nice dress shop. Good luck!

my cousins wife is from gujranwala and she has the nicest clothes. her outfit and jewelery were really nice...at the time i thought the dress was quite unique and stylish but its been really overdone now....

I know this very good designer in wazirabad,reasonably priced. And has a really good collection in bridal and formal.
His name is Mansoor and mobile number is 0300 6423639.
If need info on make-up and stuff just ask him he'll guide you where to go.
My cousins got their Wedding dresses made from him,he did a gr8 job.

i am also from sialkot but mostly when i went 2 Pk i stay in Gujranwala, now after 4 years. i love 2 shop in gujranwala cuz they have really unique pices. and itna Rasch nahin hota...

For bridals its between Rs40,000 to 60,000 and formal wear starts from 5000. Depends on the time frame and ofcourse what you like,cz if you like something real rich thts gonna b pricey so don't just go with these prices the best thing is to contact him urself and get to know the prices.

my khala is in gujranwala.. but most of the time she goes to lahore for shopping which is only 50mint drive from gujranwala.. so i think its not a big deal if u can go to lahore for makeup..
