Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

They r showing again n again the score card of that Karachi Test where Pak made Aus follow on and Aus lost by some 100+ runs

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

England should take quick wickets...like bring in some pacer who can throw yorkers devastatingly...hmmmmm

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

We will repeat the same…but this time in Gwadar…

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

Australia 210/7 (56.0 ov)

Australia trail by 234 runs with 3 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Stumps - Day 2

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

Play ends. Hmmmmm

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

Going back to that Karachi test, rather remarkable that Pak won the series with the bowling lineup of Saleem Jaffar, Aamir Malik, Salim Malik, Shoaib Mohammad, Qadir, Iqbal Qasim, Tauseef Ahmed and a some change......

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

Aussies exposed!

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

^ Welcome back buddy!

whoa!! I come home to the great news that Australia is nearing first follow on in 17 years? Incredible. This English team is bringing aussie frailities to the core. I cant imagine why Ponting and selectors stuck to Gillespie!! The way Vaughan murdered his bowling was a sight to behold.

Excellent Excellent. Hope England dont lose their stranglehold on this match.

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

:hehe: I thought watching this much cricket recently would have enlightened you to some extent but sigh I was wrong. You would like to drop England’s number one bowler?? Alright. Its good that English selectors are not as naive as you.

Only burden on English team is Hoggard. Hope he comes back to the form he showed in SA. And I am glad That Bell scored some runs because he was a passenger in English team.

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

17 years is really a long period, for us we can’t even say 17 months :bummer:

But what do you mean by “stuck to Gillespie”, who else is a better option? Vaughan is the only one more punishing, but at one point McGrath wasn’t looking good either, more expensive than Lee.

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

according to him there is no spinner in English team

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

McGrath was half-fit on th morning of the match but aussies had to play him but I really thought McGill would have been better on old trafford pitch considering its history and How Giles and Warne were ripping delieveries. Gillespie has had a bad tour already and in this crunch match Tait or Mcgill or even Kasprowiczz would have been better IMO. (Not that I am complaining, may Ponting play Gillespie in all the matches)

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

yeah and on previuos page, Giles was getting three thumbs up from him. :-/ Irony?

Re: Eng V Aus - 3rd Test Match.

I think he spends most of his time focussing on how many balls are played by a batsman and how much he scored, and “recent overs: …”
