Damn.. I knew this series would be one of the best.. or if not the best ever.
Yeah I think I was about to have a heart attack just like all the other English supporters in the crowd.
Oh well.. well played both teams. Btw, Jones was having cramps so Harmisson had to come in and bowl. Too bad Flintoff didn't get much of a chance early on against Lee when Ponting was batting.

I thought edgbaston would good down in history as one of the finest tests but old trafford was quite a catch. It was a match England should have won, they've were dominating the world champs throughout this test. But ponta played superbly and aussies got due reward for showing some bottle.

we r getting the best of cricket... i don't remember last time i followed test match this close... Hats off to england... even though aussies have the better feeling cuz of their escape [first from follow on n then from the defeat]... Days before the test, we were discussing how McGrath and Lee won't be in for this test and England might win this one.... Both of 'em played and England still put up a show that almost got them a victory...
They will be even more confident in the next one...

this is where lee is miles ahead of show-boy akhtar. lee has shown great responsibility by playing some really excellent innings both with ball and bat. :k:

In this match, Bret Lee proved himself as a good player and a good all rounder and finally he deserves to be compared with quality players like Chris Gayle and Andrew Symonds, who can bat and bowl.
