It was not the same ending as in novel.I don't know why did they show like she committed suicide.In the novel she didn't realize where she was going and she came back to her senses when she climbed the balcony with one foot in the air but it was too late.

yes very different ending. The story revolves around a lady (Hafeez Fatima) in search of her husband (after partition). After long long search, she couldn't find her husband and probably some news of husband's demise came to her. She then meets a doctor (Tanveer Jamal) and after denial to marry again for many times she finally gets married to this Doctor. In last episode, her ex-husband discovered as a patient. Dr knowing relation, divorces the lady, but ex husband knowing that she is happily married, again left the city. Drama ends at railway station, where Hafeez Fatima goes to see her ex-husband, but the train had already gone.

^^ oh so drama ended with many twists, ptv serials/long plays had stories with great twists and turns, not like flat stories of khwateen digest aapas.
