She was not selfish, faraz was sincere to her, so she went with him, shakeel’s character was of a confused person.

That’s the point, a confused and severely depressed person who needed her badly to get out of that dismal state, but she didn’t have that character to face those hardships, so she instead chose a route which was easy for her.
