One would always be hurt by the loss of dear ones. In order to not let the highs and lows of life affect you, the best solution is to be thankful to ones creator, as we have millions of reasons to do so. Thankfulness increases daily life blessings and also those of hereafter. We need to thank Allah (swt), for the things that we still have, for the caring people that are still around us, for the friends that we still have, for the Prayers that are heard, for the prayers that are not, for the wishes which are fulfilled, for the wishes that are not. For He knows better what should be given, and what should not be. He is aware of everything, surely we are not. Some lovely things are lost, some lovely people are gone, some dreams are broken, shattered and sometimes we’re left alone. All of them are countable, all of them are few. His blessings neither countable, nor are they few, so, why shouldn’t we thank HIM to our level best, through our words and our actions? He is kind and merciful. Prostrate to Allah (swt), He knows you better than you.
