If the dictator had not used the terrorists issue for his own benefit and nipped the lal masjid issue in the bud we would not have seen so many suicide bombings in Pakistan. The blames lies squarely on Mush's shoulder. he played this drama for his kursi. Shame on him.
yes blame lies on musharraf squarely for terrorism. he is too much of a softie nor did he tackle terrorism until prodded by the goras even though terrorism was a problem for pakistanis before 9/11. even after 9/11 mush has been slow to act even though he had full authority. the buck stops with him.
i would have been happier if army had overthrown musharraf along with judges and leading politicians. right now though neither the judges nor the politicians can tackle jehadis. until such time as credible opposition to mush arises, he is the best bet.
