To set the record straight: garmee aa rahi hoti hai. sardi bhi aa rahi hoti hai. However, ma’usam aa, jaa rahay hotay heiN. so if I use summer as subtitute to ‘garmee’ then summer bhi aa rahi ho gee. Now you may have a beef with this but know that you’ve beef with the wrong thing (ok, I didn’t mean to sound like that). What you should have beef with is the construct itself. i.e, mixing urdu with angrezi. But no a single angrezi word. So. Have problem with construct but not with summer being ma’unis. 'cause it’s gonna be ma’unis hundered times when I use it in urdu.

garmee is the equivalent of heat, summer would translate to garmi ka mausam or mausam-e-garma which is muzakkar… but summer can also be garmiyaaN, which is muannas.. so the conclusion is quite clear.. summer obviously swings both ways.

I’ve never heard of ma’usam-ay-garma. This is some kind of Kot-booray-khan-near-chakwal typa boli that my finessed ears are unfamiliar with Ok, I might have heard it, may be, couple of times but point is it’s a not a proper word in* my dictionary,* hence nonexistent.
