I don't buy this whole idea of "scientific miracles" in the quran. If there are scientifically accurate facts in the quran, then they must've been common knowledge at the time.
And the quran never gives us facts just for the sake of giving us facts. The purpose of telling us anything is to teach us lessons. And most of what the quran tells us is symbolic and not literal.
