^at first glance it might seem high but it can pretty much be justified.

Firstly, if you consider that same material as a front of shirt piece and sleeves only, it would cost in the region of 4-5,000 from TnM or Needle Imp. This is a sari and therefore about 6 yards worth of worked kapra. Plus there is the self jamawar blouse and the self jamawar border, which is expensive material too.
