dude… maybe your University doesn’t support outgoing mail from the same server - the IT helpdesk will prolly tell you to use your ISP’s SMTP server as the outgoing one. You can setup any SMTP server on your wayne.edu email address.

a change of the nature of the problem. when i use my comcast cable, i can’t send mail. but, when i use my resnet i can send mail through thunderbird, eudora, and outlook.
