Electrons and Protons; 2 questions?

Re: Electrons and Protons; 2 questions?

Oh yes, that is true. Also if there were no electrons and protons, stuff would not have the solid feel and things would easily pass through each other. DO you know that the reason you stand on earth and dont fall through it is not because your body is solid (each atom and its nucleus is like a ping pong ball sitting in the middle of a football field, so each atom has that much empty space and two atoms can pass through each other), but because your electrons repel the electrons of earth so you cant pass through.

net charge is definitely zero

I read that somewhere, and I know that it sounds interesting but at least visible universe is. Now I know that molecules dont have equal number of elctrons and protons and most of the universe is in form of melecules and not free atoms, so although most of the universe might be nuteral in terms of charge, that does not mean that it has equal numbers of electron and proton.
