I happened to be in Pakistan for about 10 days just a few days before the elections. I noticed that PML Q spent a lot of money on advertising and seemed to have the support of the local administration. PPP was also had a visible profile. PML N was hardly anywhere to be seen. When the results came in everyone was surprised…the silent majority had voted for PML N despite its low profile in the elections.

In lahore, virtually every billboard was bought by the Q lota leage, and they still ended up losing Lahoris can testify to this.
