By the way (in case it wasnt answered) jamawar is a type of material that is soft and cotton like. I would think it would be used usually in the winter since it is kind of thick and would keep you warm. I think I am right in this. My friend brought back some kurtis from pakistan for me and I think they were jamawar if I remember correctly and this is what the material was like. : )

Im going to wear a pink abaya with sequen work down the whole dress. It is beautiful. It is pink on the outside and then a inside layer that shows down the dress is light pink. The darker pink has a wavy cut overlapping the light pink.

I wore a cotton kurta that i got from Sawat a couple of years ago with a shawl. Both have silk thread local style embroidery on them.
