Maybe I am behind the 8-ball in understanding Hyderabadi logic -
1) if you PM me the nick of my pal, and PM my pal my nick, then both of us know who the other person is correct?
2) Is the other person supposed to guess the gift that I PM back to you?
Since others appear to be onboard with this logic, any of you Hyderabadis can splain?

I assign you a secret pal, via private message
You message me back a "gift" for that person
On the day of the reveal, I'll present your "gift" to you...and you'll guess who it came from.
As the mod in charge, I'm not participating in the gift exchange, so I'll be the only one who knows who had whom.
All Pal assingnment will be done via single PM's.... Capiche?!
