^ lol. I remember how boring my eids used to be when I was a kid cos my father used to take us to a boring family’s house, and my afternoon was spent eating a meatless biryani + sitting on the setti with a poker face.

Its chand raat here today sid and I didnt do anything special. I went out yesterday. Visited a relative and went to the mall. Bought some accessories and ate a mc flurry :D.

Slow day today, cause the major parties are planned for Saturday and Sunday. But I did some yardwork in the afternoon. That was very relaxing

it was a working day so we did 7:30 am Eid Prayer. we came home, had a little sewaiN and then off to work.

we have a family Eid get together tomorrow and on Sunday iA. we are having Eid dinner at home and that's it.

That all.. apart from a constant head banging process.... Some eid...

if I had been a Muslim...

forced prayers that my mum will make me do(cz not much of a prayer person)...
forced dressing up...(not much into dressing either)
followed by hiding sessions (from one room to other, roof, somebosy else's roof) from relatives ..(not a people person either..)

fun part would be praying in moonlight maybe.. follwed by a long rooftop chat with sis..and light decorations with bro.. maybe making dried food with mum and burn her twice.. and a few nudges to my father about poking the trees..

and... then awaragardi with friends on the streets..
(as we do on diwali..)

Just not the phatake phoding syndrome...(& hey @Southie they emit a lot of green house gases)
