Lol, I'll be looking forward to it.
Before Eid I'm always excited and I'm like "yeah! Gonna wear these clothes!" But on the day I can't seem to find any clothes to wear and it frustrates me.

I don't know I think it's because I end up over thinking it, by thinking my clothes are either too fancy or too simple

Just bought my Eid dress...Its a white long dress, with designs of blue, purple, pink, and silver, and the big palazzo type pants. Pants and dupatta are purple, so I may wear purple heels, pink or silver heels. The lady I purchased from gave me a free finger ring. I just need to find matching chooriyan when I get my dress back from being altered.
Getting mehendi done 3 days before Eid. Since my aunt is a mehendi artist, I'll let her freestyle.
I plan to go light on eye makeup (just eyeliner cat eye style, and mascara) and a bold pink lip!
Wearing my hair curly with side bangs and half updo. I'll do my nails the day of Eid, either all pink or each nail a different color of the dress, or maybe French tips.
Thinking of adding highlights to my hair. *hmmm...
*Ok now I'm getting excited for Eid!

I have nearly completed my present shopping for eid, we make a big deal of giving the kids presents so the get the importance of eid. Not just the kids but we all exchange presents in our family and between close friends so this takes huge prep time to go shopping then wrap.
I will decorate a few days before eid n also get the kids to make eid cards.

The bfriend…has a Muslim bf..and she will merry him…(classic jodha Akbar fantasy I say)…
So will have to go to a mosque this year…
We celebrate Christmas teez gangaur diwali holi sankrant rakhi shivratri ..basically everything…
I don’t know why we left eid…Mamaji has this weird habit of dragging our asses twice a year to Ajmer Sharif…
This year …have someone else to nudge me…
Waise bhi I have to go shopping…all this ramzan food has given me hell of a time controlling my emotions..

Would love to see your Eid decorations! I've been wanting to decorate at least a corner dedicated to Eid/Ramadan. We've been painting and doing repairs so doesn't seem likely. Please post pics up here if you can!

Have never posted a pic here, so have no idea but will try, if I remember.
I put fairy lights up on the curtain pole so the whole window is covered. Then make eid Mubarak banner and strings of decorations made up of moons and stars. Get the kids to cut these out and stik onto string.

Me and my 5 year old have just finished making eid cards.
She really enjoyed making them.

Hello, Everyone!I am MsDreamy. New to Gupshup. This is my first ever thread.I know it's too early, and Ramadan has just started only, but let's keep each other updated with our eid ki tayyariyan. Has any of you guys and girls started it?If, yes, how are you going about with your preparations?If, no, when do you plan on starting them?Also, which roza is it in your part of the world?As for me, it's the sixth roza here. I haven't started my preparations, yet. Maybe in about a week or so.P.S. May Allah accept our fasts and ibadah, and may Allah answer all our prayers. Ameen.
