who cares it is going to be another dictator who is subserviant to the american cause!
Its like one dictator dies another idiot takes his place!
Nothing will change untill the system changes!

Fraudia this is like any other arab dictatorship. There is the old guard which supports whatever the dictator and his family say or do. The new younger 'upstarts' are quickly silenced or forced in to line if they seem to become a potential liability against the dictators rule. Basically saying, there are many potentials. None that would openly ask for the job or even get it. They are in hiding so to speak within their own party.
so pir sahib you think that husni is in power bcoz there is not a single leader in egypt who is as capable as him?
well for me answer is simple, he doesn't want any other leader in his country AS LONG AS he is in power. USA wants the same, keep him in power and have things its way. egypt does have good capable leaders, far better than husni, but they are either in jails, killed or are living lives in exile.

zain, did I say that? I thought i posted my question in simple english, and I do not recall even hinting at what you have posted above. I asked a simple question. Once again let me repeat that
there are no conditions here, no conditions that if the status quo is maintained or if there is a change in dynamics etc etc. simply.. name some people who could be the next leaders. you can say someone could be a the next leader whether or not that person's chances of getting in that position are zero, or someone could be the next leader, even if he is mobarak's own son no matter how incompetent or competent he may be.

sure, thats your view, nad you are entitled to it, but that is not what I was asking
*egypt does have good capable leaders, far better than husni, but they are either in jails, killed or are living lives in exile. *
ahh see now you are beginning to touch on my basic question. who are these people, how are they good leaders, what are their platforms..
names of potential leaders, names of likely leaders, and their backgrounds and platforms..for the sake of knowledge, not for a political kabbadi match.
alright so tons of back and forth but no names and backgrounds of potential and/or likely leaders, except for that one mention of mobarak's son.
:)
