Re: Easy peezy 10 minute chicken corn soup
Okay, so i finally made the soup. I didnt put any actual chicken in it though. The results were mmm mmm delish.
Heres what i did (makes 3 servings)
- Boil 2 cups of water and add 1 Knorr chicken cube (thankyou smilestar for finding me the the proportion :p) and stir so it dissolves
- add 1 cup corn, soy sauce and salt to taste (thankyou phatima1 for the courage to boldly just throw everything in there :D)
- in a separate cup, mix 2 heaped tablespoons of corn flour in half cup water
- mix em all up on the stove on high heat (this will cause the mixture to cool down)
- wait for it to heat up again and then add 2 eggs
- stir the soup gently so as to break the eggs' yolks but not mince the corn
- cook for another 2-3 mins gently stirring and voilaaa
The soup came out a bit thicker than usual so you should go easy on the cornflour.
