So after 3 hours...some 21 million euros or 25 million dollars have been collected...

This telethon has still long way to go...

i stopped watching after 15 million.. that was after 11 pm..when it was announced..anyway..
did u guyz c the cards.. which were for sale for abt 10.000 euro’s each.. i mean.. wasn’t that a bit 2 much..
n the MG convertible..i was abt to bid.. but then they said.. u have 2 start atleast wid 10.000 euro’s..then i was like.. naa.. rehn dey..

Just to correct you…the Tsunami donations ended upto some 212 million euros…I think the collection was so huge due to the enourmous geographical areas the tsunami hit and some 12 countries were affected…and of course the water quake…

they say the pakistani quake caused more damage than the tsunami..

^ wid the tsunami they collectes abt 90 million.. they wonder y people didn’t gave so much this time.. anyway..many people r afraid that the money wont go 2 the right places..thas y many people didn’t donated so much..

They raised more for the tsunami as Zabardast said… but the other reason people are taking it slow this time is that they are ‘getting tired’ of all those disasters.. Eventhough this earthquake has caused far more damage den the tsunami and the hurricane in America..

but we cant prevent it.. its all mother nature..

Yes it is ridicilous.. i agree wid u on that… But i think.. i know it sounds crazy… that they dont really care.. i mean.. Pakistan doesnt really have a good name in Holland.. If you say Pakistan.. they think terroristcamps.. and blahblahblah..

but u know.. if u talk abt the tsunami.. ma aunt said.. dutch people have a close connection wid indonesia n thailand.. u know.. many indonesian over here.. it used to be a colony of holland.. the have an emotional connection wid especially indonesia.. thas y they were more concerned abt tsunami.. n ur right.. i was thinink the same thing.. pakistan means terrorism to them..
