Id say id need around 50 if im going all around duppatta what do you think? I'm after fancy zari ones like in the photo but in pink.

PS Catwalk they arent available in Islamabad. I checked with lace shops in F10, Jinnah and Karachi Company and none of them had them. I didnt have time to o Pindi and check though.

yeah i think 50 will be enough.......... i also got fancy zari ones in silver colour............ since ur wedding is 6 months later so u can ask any of ur relative in lahore or if anyone else travelling to lahore................. in lahore tey r v easily available..................hope u get these balls soon

how many balls really depends on the length and width of the dupatta and how far you want the balls to be spaced

so lets say your duppata is 3 yards in length 3 yards= 12*3 inches= 36 inches

if u wanted to space ur balls 3 inches apart you would need 12 balls for each of the long sides

now if you wanted to go all around the dupatta to be on the safe side you can asume all sides are 3 yards and get 12*4= 48 balls ~ 50

My friend buys trims with hanging beads and removes them. She then sews them individually along the dupatta edge.

^See, I like the balls better on Preity’s outfit…because they are positioned closer together compared to the first picture posted by the OP. If they’re set closer together…it almost looks like a chain…and that looks more attractive, IMO.
