Last time I checked Imran won a World Cup for Pakistan on his own shouders. He was the captain and he bowled and scored in the final. Tendulker meanwhile, lasted 5 balls in the only World Cup final he has ever played in. That is not to say he is'nt a good batsman, but certainly adds merit to what Imran has to say.
True, though I don't agree with Imran's comments but he shouldn't be criticized for stating his opinion.
I remember when Bishen Bedi criticized Shoaib and Murali's actions, and all the Indian media and the supporters tried to defend him by saying he speaks his mind and is a very outspoken person, well this is the same issue.
I don't even know why it is such a big deal, millions of people share Imran's view.
Well Imran is entitled for his opinion and so are we all.Imran didn say that Sachin sucks he just said he isnt a match winner as King Richards.It is his opinion.I am sure if Imran has to pick a playing XI today inspite of Sachin not being match winner will still figure in that team.
I dont think anyone in Indian media criticized Imran for stating his mind.
Similarly this Dugar dude is also entitled for his opinion though making it personal issue is bad. So kool off guys.

sachin tendulkar class is beyond discussion....probably best batsman of our generation...but i am surprised to read mr dangur's comments...he kept sayin that sachin is greatest player ever....next to bradman and blah blah..agreed but imran is not questioning his abilities as a batsman neither did imran criticized his technique....im ran questioned his nerves in cruical moments....it is totally a different topic...and it is a well known fact reported in indian media several times that sachin needs to be more proactive in terms of contributing to team success...sachin record againt pakistan is very ordinary... if i am not wrong his average is mid 30s in one days againt pakistan...why.... may be beause matches against pak r extremly tense... now please dont remind me wc match... that was an exception and we are talkin abt a much broader pic
remember zaheer abbasss.. probably most stylish batsmen ever seen, only player in asia who scored 100 first class centuries....no one in india pak, and sri lanka has done it so far... called "asian bradman" by british and australian press....but he was known to be a failure when it mattered the most....and imaran always said same abt zaheer...he always rated zaheer much higher than javed but he always admitted javed role in pakistan victories....
and why imran cant comment abt sachin from sports standpoint...he is not an ignorant person like me but he is imran khan who knows the game probably more than anyone else... why do we worship personalities....why cant we handle criticism.....
