The only reason I have an etisalat sim too is because du does not have coverage in AUD. I dont know whats going on. Anyway I guess it would work well because DU is the primary in new dubai areas right and even AR. We have still to get Evision or Etisalat here.

hi yeah staying in a hotel.

Just a weird question- forgive my ignorance- but ill ask you anyway...

do you think it will be weird for myself to walk around dubai with trousers/3/4 shorts on? since obviously i am a muslim and so on?

obviously i won't be walking around with shorts and disrespecting the country we are in- but i will be wearing t shirts and cropped trousers. that should be ok shouldn't it?

any good desi shops u recommend?

Hi Random girl- of course its safe to wear 3/4 cropped trousers around Dubai!!! Dubai is cool like that- of course as u mentioned u wouldnt be immodestly dressed so its totally fine- if ur around in desi areas like Karama and Bur Dubai then I advise u take a shawl just in case ur wearing sleveless... u in Dubai now????

Yeh meena bazaar areas or areas where there are a lot of indian men etc (pakistani bengali malbari etc etc too) i too would suggest that u take a shawl etc or dress a bit more conservatively.. they stare at women who wear improper clothes and then whisper in their own hindi language... dekha woh gori !?
